Important Window Film Care Instructions
After your window tint installation, please note the following care guidelines and considerations:
Initial Appearance: It is normal for the window tint to have a hazy appearance or moisture bubbles for up to 30 days after installation.
Window Operation: Do not roll down your windows for two to three days after the tint has been applied.
Cleaning: Wait at least five days after installation before cleaning your windows. When cleaning, avoid using abrasive materials like scouring pads or any products containing ammonia.
Dot Matrix Areas: Raised dot matrix patterns may sometimes appear milky white, as the film may lift over the dots, causing air to settle in these areas.
Seatbelt Caution: Be mindful of your seatbelt when exiting your vehicle, as it can sometimes nick the film on the doors if allowed to swing freely.
Special Considerations: In rare cases, certain windows may have a UVU coating that prevents tinting. Some window gaskets, if not lined with felt, can scratch the film or even the glass.
Certain sunroofs and windshields cannot be tinted due to their already high absorption rates.
