Except for the 5% Limo tint, which is illegal in most situations, the darkness level of the tint does not affect the price. The cost depends on the series of the film. Dyed films are less expensive to produce compared to ceramic films. The higher the ceramic content, the more costly it is to manufacture, but ceramic films offer better performance than dyed or metal films. At Tint Man FL, we do not carry metal window films due to the potential for electronic interference in many vehicles.
You can find detailed information about Florida tint laws on our "FL Tint Laws" page.
Tint Removal The cost to remove film is typically $25 per door and $150 for the rear window. While we use a steamer and bagged sweating technique to minimize the risk, we cannot guarantee that the rear defroster won't be damaged during removal.
However, we generally succeed in preserving it.
Please note that if we do not receive a 24-hour notice of cancellation, or if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply as we may not be able to fill your appointment slot.
